RJ loves helping me most especially in the kitchen. I guess she also has this passion for cooking like me. She loves watching me while I am peeling, garnishing, tossing, etc. She also loves doing small things for me just like in the picture below.
She asked me if she can do the pasta. It’s an easy peasy task so I let her. There was a time I let her break the eggs but she made such a mess so from then on I only give her easier tasks. I usually pre-measure everything and let her do the mixing and the stirring. I am glad that she can follow instructions. It is fun working with her.
How about you, do you let your child help you in the kitchen?

i have yet to ask my son help out in the kitchen, in the meantime he keeps himself occupied trying to pull everything he can reach from the kitchen counter top 🙂
That’s a good start! SAbi ng mga nababasa kong articles, yung kids na love to help in preparing food, they grow up to be a not picky eater kasi they see everything how it was prepare.
My daughter loves to help me in the kitchen too! Basta alam niya na mag-cook na ako, sasabihin na, help ako mommy. She can do breading, mixing and one time, nag cook ng hotdog, although katabi pa rin niya ako to supervise. Once ata na nainfluence natin sila at a young age,dadalhin na nila yun paglaki eh. 😀

Getting your child to help you out at home does teach her responsibility at an early age. I hope your daughter keeps it up 🙂
It’s good to let the kids do some light kitchen tasks at an early age to familiarize them agad. 🙂
