I still remember one time when we went to the mall, RJ was two years old then and Rhonnel was carrying her, we passed by toy section but RJ had no reaction at all. When we passed by books section RJ wanted to get down. Rhonnel let her then she got two childrens books. Of course we went home with those books. RJ loved the bedtime stories time. It was one of our bonding moments. No wonder she can read and spell simple words at the age of three.
Now, whenever we go to bookstore, we see RJ in the books section, browsing. There are times that we do not want to buy her books anymore because she already has plenty of them. Then she will say, “I don’t have this one yet.”
This is the advantage of taking her pictures all the time. I always have photos to share on our weekly memes. Have a great weekend everyone!
Oh wow, great bonding din pati ang pagbabasa ano tokaya.. Kami meron ding collection, inaamag nga lang hahaha..
i used to read a lot, too but when i started blogging bihira na lang…buti na lang at kahit paano eh i can still read to jake and he can read to me during our Mommy time and bedtime as well 🙂

it seems most of us cut back on reading after we started blogging…lol!
uso pa kasi ang pocketbooks nun.. my mom has a collection of tagalog pocketbooks, pero since natuto sya mag-internet, wala na, pinamigay na lol.. AKo naman im not fond of books but I want Anzu to be a bookworm.. buti na lang she loves books, pero i havent tried reading bedtime stories to her.. kinakausap na lang kasi instead but definitely, ill read to her kasi parang ang ganda yata ng bonding na yun =)

Kids get lost in their own world when they read a book…let's leave them be..kasi when they grow old they could be like us, busy always and no time to read just like when we were younger hehe. Happy weekend sa inyo!
It's great that your whole family are avid book readers. With the advent of the internet, less and less people read books. But books have their place in our lives. They help mold our characters and knowledge and help us see and understand the world around us. Thanks for the feel good post. God bless you all always.
way to go mommy! 🙂 i am so glad that your daughter loves books.. and that you have so many pictures to share with us weekly! 😀
Can read and spell at age three, wow! that's amazing. si Wrozlie 4 na, di pa rin memorize ang abc, but she can write her whole name..tsk!
Iba na ang matyaga ang nanay Mommy rossel, ikaw ang nagturo ke RJ kaya saludo ako sau.

wow! what an impressive collection you got there. i commend you for setting up a goo example to your child. keep it up!
Smart baby si RJ at the age of 3 she can read and spell na. You did a good job sis. At nakuha ni Rj ang love for reading sa inyong dalawa. Yung sa akin, sa tatay lang nila nakuha kasi ako kahit gusto kong magbasa parating nai-stall, konti lang yata natapos kong basahin.
Choosing books over toys is very rare for kids. You know what, you gave me an idea. I should bring my son to bookstores more often. When we go to the mall, he always drops by a toy store. LOL! Hope we'll bump into each other again soon.
nice bonding! at na miss ko yung time ng mga kids pa sila and may i kwento muna before matulog..
awwwwww…no wonder kung san nag mana si RJ….:)
musta na po te…sensya na ho at ngayon lang ulit nakadalaw….:)
