Healthy and Hearty Meals

My hubby’s favorite meal now…

Sweet and Sour Tofu

tofu (sliced)

1 small bell pepper (sliced)
1 small pineapple chunks (drained, set aside juice)
1/2 tbsp. banana ketchup
1 tbsp. sugar
a pinch of ground black pepper
a pinch of salt
1 tbsp. corn starch

Fry tofu, cut in cubes then set aside. Mix all the ingredients except for tofu and cornstarch. Bring to boil. Dissolve cornstarch in a little water then add to the mixture. Stir until thick. Pour the mixture on top of tofu.

Vegetable Salad

lettuce
big tomato (sliced)
small carrot (grated)
pineapple chunks
thousand island dressing (or your favorite salad dressing)

Mix the vegetables together. Pour salad dressing on top.

*low fat, low calories, low sodium but nutritious

  2. hello rossel, ayan at naunahan na pala ako ni eden ano? gusto ko yung veg salad, parang masarap yon? mahilig ka talaga gumawa ng mga masasarap na kainin…hmmm, kaya pala naman…kitang kita sa katawan..hahahaha…joke lang ha!

  3. hehehe! oo na payatot, malusog din ako. alam ko naman iyon at hindi ko kinakaila. sa totoo lang guilty ako sa pagkakasakit ng hubby ko kaya inaalagaan ko sya ng husto ngayon.

    kase ba naman pinagtagpo kami…ako mahilig magluto…sya mahilig kumain. hehehe!

  4. naku! parang ngayon lang yata ako nakapunta dito sa kusina mo. ang sarap ang mga pagkain mo. heheeh. bigla akong nagutom
    mga pagkain ko sa aking bahay( survivor mom) ay bara barang luto lang kasi napipilitan lang akong magluto kasi walang ibang magluto kundi ako lang.
