I am planning to cook special menus this Sunday for the Father’s day celebration but my sister-in-law is inviting us for her youngest daughter’s birthday celebration. Though it is lunch time, I am sure it will take us until late afternoon. May be we will have an advance Father’s day celebration on Saturday. I don’t have menus yet in mind but because it is hubby’s day, I want to surprise him with his favorite foods. That means we will forget about the diet again. Sunday is an exemption since there will be a celebration…excuses…excuses.
The truth is I feel guilty because I am preparing sandwiches and other light meals for dinner for 2 weeks now. I know Rhonnel is tired at work and hungry when he gets home. But he has gained so much weight and I am worried about his health. So to pay for the last two weeks meal, I will cook his favorite foods but only for Father’s day. After the celebration, back to sandwiches again. Giving priority to his health, should I feel guilty or not? Care to share your Father’s Day plans?
How about kare-kare?hehe…just a thought Mommy. I am thinking of cooking the same on Sunday.
Oo nga minsan talaga kailangan natin silai-diet. but they do understand naman it is because we care for them so.
Happy Father's Day to your Mr. Wonderful!

Advance Happy Father's Day to your hubby sis…
parehas pala tau…ako nga lang nman medyo iwas sa meat and fatty foods na niluluto para kay hubby kasi umiiwas sa highblood and sakit sa puso…
i think u should not be guilty Mom Ross because your doing the best for ur hubby:)
healthy naman mga light food at sandwich sa dinner. swerte naman si hubby sa iyo for being maalalahanin.isip isip na ng menu, hay anu kaya paborito ko este ni mister? lol
I don't blame you feeding your hubby sandwiches, sis. You are the mom and you know you are doing it for your hubby's health. I'm the one who should be guilty, lols. I usually prepare food that are his favs and they are caloric, sometimes the flavor isn't good because I cut the sugar and lessen the butter and oil stuff. But, that's a good idea to cook his favorite meal on father's day. What food are you preparing? Curious lang sab ko. 🙂

Nako Mother, we are so opposite to the max. I spoil my husband with all the food he wants. Sometimes he says I am killing him softly daw kasi alam na bawal sa pork, eh pork pa rin handa ko. LOL!!!
Nice plans Mommy, Happy Father's Day!!!
wow! YUM! ako di magluluto… haha!!! ewan ko ba, di ko na mahagilap ang aking passion for cooking… kain nalang kame sa labas…
and ate rossel, you shouldn't feel guilty… I'm sure daddy ronnel appreciates your thoughtfulness very much…
wag ka ma guilty, Sel; kasi for his own good naman yun eh…happy father's day nga pala kay hubby mo.
Eh ano bang iluluto mo?? talagang tinanong eh noh?
