A Very Colorful Weekend

Have you been to Perya (fair)? Perya is part of Filipino culture that is present on feast days. It is commonly found in provinces. Just like carnival, it has rides and games but not as whimsical. The rides and games are limited thus a lot cheaper.

Every holiday season, Perya is one of the attractions at River Parks, Marikina bazaar. The pictures below where taken when we went there last December.

It was a very colorful weekend for RJ and her cousins. They rode the carousel, played on colorful balls, etc. This is another experience that kids shouldn’t miss.

  1. Jumping into those balls look fun! I’ve always wanted to buy a bunch of these balls and put in a box or something so the kids can jump in. Then I think about how I’m gonna have to be picking up a lot of them every day, haha. So I guess we’ll just have to contend with those at the peryas. 😀 Thank you for coming to my Colorful Weekend Party!

  2. Dami balls! My kids will surely love that 😀

My Colorful Weekend post is up here. 😀

  3. Miss ko na magpunta ng perya hehe pero sosyal na mga perya ngayon. Meron pa rin ba nung maghahagis ng 25 cents na kelangan mashoot dun sa loob ng square and yung price is peewee? hehehe
